Now, in more detail. I'm from Russia (St. Petersburg), and my first contacts with agent Olga Nedeljkovic began even before I arrived in Belgrade. Once I was there, Olga's colleague, agent Biljana Doganzic, joined us. So, with that team, we began our search.

I'll be honest: I'm probably not the easiest client. I'm an engineer by training and have quite an impressive (over 20 years) of experience in construction. Therefore, the apartment viewings included more than just the standard set of options: location, floor, price, infrastructure, and other basics. I also conducted a kind of engineering walkthrough of the properties. Perhaps this is one of the reasons the search took so long. Patience, professionalism, hard work, and understanding—that's what I especially want to highlight about my agents' work.

The real estate market in Serbia is very different from the Russian one. Olga provided me with comprehensive advice on the current situation in general and on specific properties in particular. This was even while I was in St. Petersburg. Together, we traveled in Biljana's car through almost every municipality in Belgrade. We made numerous trips, and not once was I even hinted at additional charges for gas or anything else. I've heard that some realtors are guilty of this.

An important point I'd like to highlight separately: after signing the contract and completing the transaction, I, as a client, didn't feel left alone with new challenges. Olga is always available, answering any questions that arise and providing recommendations.

Buying an apartment, especially in another country, isn't just a notary transaction and a money transfer to the seller. It also involves re-registering bills and utility contracts, and other related activities. I felt truly helped and supported throughout, for which I'm especially grateful.
